Buying a used computer vs. new

      So people would prefer a new computer over a used one. I myself like to save money each and every way possible. Most used computers are usually $100 cheaper just because they are used. I have bought several used computers and sold them for good money because alot of people don't want to buy a brand new computer and it be out dated in just a couple of months. Usually you can just buy a new operating system and make it run better. I mean to save $100 I would do it. It's just up to the individual person. Buying used computers may sound bad , but to save some money its actually a good deal. But that's for desktops. As for laptops repeat after me, " I will never purchase a used laptop " lol buying a used laptop is usually bad. most people dont take care of their laptops and they break really easy so stay away from these.     Building a PC is a cheaper route also, and usually with way better gear

    I prefer to make my own. Ends up being almost as cheap as an old one if you do it rght

    I usually prefer to buy my hardware new. I don't know, I think I'm willing to pay the extra cash for a new product.

    personally i think its a great idea... I have 4 kids and a mortgage. Anyway to save a buck in this economy is cool with me. :)

    I bought a laptop, brand new... for this price, I could get a perfect 2nd hand laptop with a better GPU. :(
